Everybody loves taller receivers, especially in the Pac Ten. They don't come much taller than <a href="http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=148&p=8&c=1&nid=657092">Andrew Williams</a> who currently stands at 6-5. Williams is the younger brother of current USC offensive lineman <b>Kyle Williams</b>. The Cats are showing interest in the younger Williams and that interest is reciprocal.

The 49ers sped through an abbreviated practice beneath cloudy, damp skies Saturday morning as a prelude to Showtime later that afternoon, when they took to the field at Spartan Stadium in San Jose for a scripted mock game before an adoring throng of San Francisco Bay Area fans. That public practice brought to an end the first stage of the team's training camp and, as the Niners reach their first off day Sunday, SFI rates the top battles for playing time - and starting time - in camp so far.

Andrew Williams is a 6-5, 187-pound receiver from San Clemente, California, and Williams just returned to Southern California after spending last year in Texas. Now that he's back where he wants to be his goals are clear - earn a scholarship to a top Division-1 school. And he's got a pretty good idea where he wants to go.
