Mississippi State offensive line coach J.B. Grimes is known in the coaching circles as one of the best offensive line coaches in the business. That's the very reason MSU head coach Sylvester Croom hired him. But it's been tough even for the veteran Grimes, primarily due to the rash of injuries his young, but talented freshmen linemen have had to deal with during this training camp.

Freshmen Show Potential for the Future

Most of the Mississippi State football freshmen, with a few veterans sprinkled in, ran sixteen 110s after their weightlifting workout Monday afternoon. There is not only a time limit for each run, but they also have a limited number of seconds to rest in between each run. Although a few of them had some difficulty making all their times, most of them were very impressive.
