Patriots Add Eight Players To Roster

FOXBORO -- The New England Patriots announced the signing of eight players to the roster on Monday. Three of them are US Naval Academy players. According to Navy records, the signing of three players in the same year are a first for both Navy and the NFL.

Navy senior Shun White was late to the locker room following his team's 41-13 victory over Towson before 31,613 on Saturday in the season opener for both. He had been held up by a TV interview, so he had to sprint to join his teammates in the locker room.
