McPherson Back At Running Back

Five years ago, Lamar McPherson was a star running back at Bishop McDevitt High School. Since then, he's redshirted at Syracuse, transferred to Temple, worked the overnight shift at Home Depot, played safety and linebacker and fullback and special teams for the Owls. Now, heading into his senior year, McPherson is back where he started.

Philly Backers Back in Philly

Temple linebackers Lamar McPherson and Omar McDonnaugh-Hales have a lot in common, from family ties to a relative lack of size. Both of them left Philadelphia after high school, and now both of them are back, playing for Coach Al Golden's squad. Both of them also earned top spots on the Owls depth chart following spring practice.
