2007 Vandal Football Team Awards

For the second year in a row, numerous Idaho team records fell. Tailback Deonte Jackson set a new freshman rushing record. Shiloh Keo set a new record for yards per punt return, and set a new record with a 100 yard punt return. David Vobora led the WAC in tackles for the second year in a row. And among the 2007 redshirt class, tightend KEVIN SMALL earned Offensive Scout Team POY honors.

GoVandals.net Salutes the Seniors

This Saturday, fourteen seniors will take the field for the last time in their playing career at Idaho, as the Vandals take on Utah State at 12:30 PM (PST) in the Kibbie Dome. The senior class includes five on offense and nine on defense. It is unlikely any class has seen so much transition at Idaho, and inside is our salute to a fantastic group of dedicated athletes.

2 Minute Drill with Brandon Ogletree

Routinely described by the Vandal coaching staff as one of the most "physically talented" of Idaho's deep linebacking corps, senior BRANDON OGLETREE (6-3, 230) finds himself at the top of Idaho's strongside linebacker depth chart. He'll be battling senior Josh Bousman in what may be a repeat of 2006, where the two athletes combined for over 90 tackles and split starting duties last fall.

Second Half Gallery: Idaho vs. OSU

Despite a brutal showing by the Idaho offense in the first half (Idaho was unable to run or pass) and 4 Idaho turnovers, the defense limited OSU to just 17 points. In the second half Idaho's D yielded 21 more points, and the offense never scored. Junior quarterback BRIAN NOOY stepped in part way through the second quarter, but still could not lead Idaho to the endzone.

Linebacker Depth Chart UPDATES

With a week left before Letter of Intent signing day (Wednesday, February 1), we take a quick look at the Vandal football roster, and in particular Idaho's linebacker depth chart. Some personnel changes are in store as the team continues winter conditioning in preparation for spring drills. Look for several key players, including true junior-to-be Brandon Ogletree, to make position changes this spring.
