In less than two months, the OSU-bound players in this weekend's Ohio All-Star Classic will be on the practice field for the Buckeyes. We had a chance to talk to several of them at the recent media event, and today we have some thoughts from Andre Amos and Jamario O'Neal, who will be Buckeyes this fall, and Freddie Lenix, who will be enrolling in the winter.

During Friday's preliminary rounds at the state track championships, Steve Helwagen had a chance to film some of the top track performers as they went through qualifying races before Saturday's finals. His long-awaited and much-coveted offer to play football at Ohio State finally came in late November last year, but Freddie Lenix's ultimate arrival at OSU will take a little longer than he anticipated. Lenix's highly-decorated track career is behind him now but his fight to be on the field, one day, in Ohio Stadium carries on.

More than a few future Ohio State Buckeyes were in action at the state track meet over the two day event and there also a couple of others participating that fans who follow OSU recruiting are aware of. To no one's surprise, Glenville won the team event in a big way and Brain Hartline came through in a similar fashion in his two meets.
