Breaking Down the Roster

Sure the Giants, with an 8-8 record and another playoff loss, clearly did more than enough to warrant an extension for coach Tom Coughlin. Yeah, sure they did. However, everyone knows that Coughlin's roster, which was often decimated by injuries, was one of the main reasons that Big Blue struggled mightily this season.

WR Taylor Files Letter of Retirement

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Giants wide receiver Jamaar Taylor today filed his letter of retirement with the NFL's commissioner's office and informed the team that he has decided to retire after just two seasons in the league.

It had to happen, even if by mistake. A defensive back falls down. The game is decided and the defense has fallen asleep. The ball is deflected and winds up in his arms. A play is executed to perfection and the pass finds its way into the end zone. Venus and Jupiter align with Mars.
