News & Notes: Idaho vs Utah State

Junior cornerback DeAngelo Ramsey had a stellar game for the Vandals Saturday afternoon in Idaho's 27-13 Homecoming victory over Utah State. In all Ramsey rotated in at corner extensively, picked off a pass (10 yard return), had an opportunity to pick another, recorded 4 unassisted tackles, and returned a kick to the Idaho 32. All in all, an outstanding game for a player that just joined the program during fall camp and came to Idaho as a wide receiver.

Spring Preview: The 2005 Vandal Linebackers

For all the discussion about the depth challenges the Vandals have faced recently, one group where that is not the case is the Vandal linebacking unit. The returners include a Lombardi Award Watch-List honoree, 2 athletes that have led Idaho in tackles the last 2 years, a 1st Team All Conference selection, and virtually the entire depth chart from last season. Not a bad situation at all.
