Spring Preview: The 2005 Vandal Linebackers

For all the discussion about the depth challenges the Vandals have faced recently, one group where that is not the case is the Vandal linebacking unit. The returners include a <i>Lombardi Award</i> Watch-List honoree, 2 athletes that have led Idaho in tackles the last 2 years, a 1st Team All Conference selection, and virtually the entire depth chart from last season. Not a bad situation at all.

Bitter Rivals Prepare To Clash

What kind of Vandal football team will first year head coach <b>Nick Holt</b> roll into Boise with this Saturday? Well, we'll just have to see. But with as much turnover and change as Idaho has undergone this off-season, the shift in tempo, attitude, and preparation has been impressive from Day 1.<br> <br> Idaho leads the all-time series 17-15-1, while BSU is a heavy favorite in this game. Coach Holt is taking this game very seriously, and we are fairly confident that his players will too.

Countdown to Seattle

With just over a week before Idaho takes on long-time border rival Washington State at Seahawks Stadium in Seattle, here is a quick look at changes that have been made to the team since last spring, including an introduction of 11 new Vandals on the team (7 invited walk-ons and 4 JC transfers).
