CFL pass-rush specialist Ricky Foley does not expect to be a training camp casualty come September. Foley, who led the CFL with 12 sacks last year for the B.C. Lions, reportedly signed a deal with Seattle after trips to the N.Y. Jets, St. Louis, Philadelphia and San Diego.

After the Seahawks rushed for a franchise-worst 4 yards against Minnesota on Sunday, they may be facing St. Louis at the right time. Seattle ran for 167 yards in the regular-season opener against the Rams, a 28-0 win. The Rams rank 28th overall against the run, giving up an average of 146.4 yards per contest.

After reviewing the game on Sunday, Seahawks head coach Jim Mora said he turned in 17 plays to the league's officiating office for their consideration on Monday. Mora said the number of plays under consideration in a game called by referee Walt Coleman is the most he's submitted during his four years as a head coach in the NFL.
