Snyder, Barrow and Smith earn All-WAC Honors

For the second year in a row, middle linebacker Cole Snyder earned First Team All Conference honors, including this year as a First Team All WAC selection. Statistically one of the most productive linebackers in America the last two seasons, the former walkon from Kamiah made the absolute most of his Idaho career. Two juniors were also named to the two-deep roster, with kicker/punter Mike Barrow also earning First Team honors while wide receiver D.J. Smith was named to the Second Team.

Vandals drop season finale at SJSU

Despite a career effort by senior middle linebacker Cole Snyder, on a day that included 17 tackles, an interception, a blocked field goal attempt and 4 points scored by the one-man-wrecking-crew (2 by safety, 2 by returning the field goal attempt that HE blocked), Idaho's offense could not get untracked. On the road at San Jose State (2-6 WAC, 3-8) the Vandals (2-6 WAC, 2-9) lost 26-18 to end their inaugural WAC season.

GAME SUMMARY: Idaho vs. Fresno State

Despite an outstanding defensive effort and jumping out to a 7-0 lead on the first series of the game, the Vandals (1-3 WAC, 1-6) suffered numerous Special Teams breakdowns and eventually fell 40-10 to WAC power Fresno State (3-0 WAC, 5-1) Saturday afternoon.
