BayBears' Rally Falls Short in Home Opener

Carolina Mudcats starter Dallas Buck pitched 5.2 strong innings against his old organization as they defeated the Mobile Baybears 8-6 in the BayBears' home opener. Third baseman Ricardo Sosa homered for the second straight game in a valiant comeback effort off the Carolina bullpen that fell just short.

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Cincinnati Reds will receive Wilkin Castillo and Micah Owings from the Arizona Diamondbacks as the players to be named later in the Adam Dunn trade. The first player included wad Dallas Buck, a right-handed pitcher now pitching in the Florida State League for the Sarasota Reds.
