Santiago working his way back

TACOMA, Wash. - Ramon Santiago's baseball career to this point has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. Therefore, it's not surprising that he followed a solid spring with an 0-for-17 slump, and then turned it around in the next 20 days. But despite his hitting inconsistencies, Santiago maintains an even keel, basing his play on a foundation of hard work and a mentality of team before individual.
