Pre-Spring Outlook - Defensive Line

SEATTLE - Washington Defensive Coordinator Ed Donatell was less than two days into his new job when he was asked a seemingly basic question; would he be using the 4-3 or 3-4 as his base defense? Well, given the fact that he only has eight scholarshipped players returning along the defensive line, it should be an easy question to answer. Or is it?

Dawg Blog - Hawai'i

HONOLULU - The game between Washington and Hawai'i is the classic 'everything to gain, nothing to lose' matchup between two teams seemingly going in opposite directions. Problem is, the dichotomy isn't just refering to one program. The Warriors have to win this game to legitimize their BCS bowl run; the Huskies have nothing to lose because they haven't gone bowling since 2002.

Dawg Blog - Apple Cup

SEATTLE - The 100th Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State is usually played with mroe than just in-state bragging rights at stake. This Saturday, however, that's all there is. The Huskies had their own issues - namely losing their starting quarterback.

That, coupled with a matchup with an Oregon State team that is a little banged up after losing to USC, and this game appears to be a lot more intriguing than it might have been a few weeks ago.

Dawg Blog - Stanford

SEATTLE - Well, the beat goes on. The Washington Huskies fight like hell, only to find another way to let one slip from their grasp. As frustrating as it is for those sitting in the stands, it's maddening for those playing and coaching on the sidelines. And now UW goes on the road, back to Tyrone Willingham's first head coaching job - Stanford - and there's no margin for error.

Dawg Blog - Arizona

After five-straight in the loss column, the rubber has definitely met the road. Husky Nation is so hungry for a win, but it's not as easy as going down to Dick's on 45th and dialing up a couple of cheeseburgers. The Huskies host the Arizona Wildcats in a game where both teams are searching for answers
