Duquesne, which had led by as many as 14 points in the first half, was unable to complete their comeback from a 10-point shortfall, as Fordham edged the Dukes, 75-74, Saturday afternoon at the Rose Hill Gym in the Bronx, N.Y.. The Rams came out victorious despite the Dukes hitting 53.6% of their shots and Shawn James recording a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Dukes implemented an eight-man rotation in the Atlantic 10 opener against Fordham, a 74-62 victory Wednesday evening at the Palumbo Center. The win raised DU's record to 11-3 and stopped a five-game series losing streak in the first home game in eight years as their initial league contest.
