NJCAA All-Tournament Team

Kelvin Pena of Southeastern (IA) CC was named NJCAA Tournament MVP after scoring 20 points in the Blackhawks' 58-43 championship game win over Redlands (OK) CC. He scored 80 points in four games to lead Southeastern to their second straight NJCAA title. Pena was one of twelve players named to the NJCAA All-Tournament team. Teammates Ivan Almonte and Marvett McDonald were also selected.

Redlands (OK) CC, ranked #1 in the country, took advantage of the tired legs of Allegany (MD) CC for a 76-59 in the quarterfinals contest at the NJCAA tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Redlands defeats Vincennes 86-75 in NJCAA opener

#1 Redlands (OK) CC opened play in the 2004 NJCAA tournament with an 86-75 win over Vincennes (IN) University CC. The Cougars improved to 33-1 with the win, while Vincennes, ranked #7 in the country, fell to 27-5.
