Joe Longacre and the rest of the offensive line have been better this year. They may not be a dominant unit, but they have done a good job protecting Willie Tuitama and the running game is better. Longacre took some time to talk about line play.

The Arizona Wildcats may have a new offense installed but one of the main question marks surrounding the team's success still remained. The Cats' offensive line absolutely had to improve if Arizona was going to be any more successful in 2007.

The offensive line had a nice performance against NAU. They did not allow a sack to starting quarterback Willie Tuitama, and for the most part controlled the line of scrimmage. Starting right guard Joe Longacre spoke with the Tucson media about the NAU game, as well as New Mexico.

There are no guarantees on the offensive line this year, other than there will likely be three new faces in the starting line-up. One player trying to make a good enough impression to crack the line-up for the opener at Utah is redshirt freshman Joe Longacre.

Arizona has been thin on the offensive line for the past few seasons. Last year they had to start a walk-on at the end of the season.
