Every season the Beavers enter August with several positions that need to be tweaked. Last year the focus was on the running backs, defensive line and, by unfortunate circumstances, tight ends. This year's focus is on the receivers, defensive line and special teams. In this article we take a look at the receiver situation and the possibility of life without Ruben Jackson and Marcel Love.

Post spring look: Receivers

One of the main concerns during the month was finding a go-to receiver. Unfortunately that question is still unanswered. There are several candidates in Sammie Stroughter and Anthony Wheat-Brown among others, but both were slowed by injuries. Stroughter was having the best camp of the receivers dominating the sidelines on curls and slants before injuring his knee and missing a weeks worth of drills.
