Corson lands #66

The University of Pittsburgh Head Coach Dave Wannstedt and staff hosted eight outstanding prospects over the weekend. The largest of the eight happened to be 285 pound lineman Scott Corson from Johnstown High School in Johnstown, PA. PantherDigest.com spoke to big Scott about his trip.

Pittsburgh Team 7-on-7 Passing Camp

Over 40 teams took part in the Annual 7 on 7 team passing camp at UPMC South Side facility last weekend. Friday's games were played and the results were used for seeding purposes on Saturday. Games were held at the Indoor facility and all four outdoor fields were utilized as well.

This is a major coup for Head Coach Walt Harris and his staff.

It's a family affair for the Browns

Since he was 5 years old John Brown Jr. has made it no secret where he wanted to go to college. On Friday evening he made the dream a reality as he gave Walt Harris and the University of Pittsburgh a verbal commitment to continue his football career there.

Burrell's Brown commits to Panthers

John Brown is a legendary name in Pitt football history. In the 1982 Sugar Bowl, Brown made a gutsy catch from Dan Marino to beat Georgia 24-20. In 2004, Brown's son, John, Jr., will attempt to follow in his father's footsteps as he accepted an offer from the Pitt coaching staff to join them next season.
