The game was a complete disappointment. Nebraska hit the Buffs early, totaling 393 yards in total offense in the first half, along with 35 points. That should have been enough to beat just about anyone. But as the theme has continued this year, frustrations outweighed and undid the big red. Coach Callahan talked about that, but as you can imagine, much of the questions were regarding his future.

It's potentially the last game of the season. That's just what the Cornhuskers are trying to avoid. It's a do-or-die mentality which is not only appropriate, but seems to be reflective of some uncertain times. Head Coach Bill Callahan talked about the upcoming game with the Buffs and how they are trying to push everything aside so this isn't the last game of the year.

There are a lot of questions about how Nebraska can go from giving up 70 to scoring 70 in the span of the week. There are so many questions about this team. It's not the offense, though. Of that Nebraska Head Coach Bill Callahan is certain. His confidence in his system is supreme.
