The season certainly didn't start out well for Dillard, the senior linebacker not even playing in the first two games. But it's been one heck of a season since. If not for Suh, there could be some argument as to who the biggest impact player on defense was this season. But there would be no arguing that Dillard's name would be in the conversation. For him, he wouldn't change this year a bit.

Just getting on the field would be good enough for most. You can say that for senior linebacker Phillip Dillard. But the move to weakside certainly doesn't disappoint the veteran LB. From learning the schemes and just getting in the games, Dillard says it's all good with the move to the outside.

He may have had to work on some things, but linebacker Phillip Dillard wasn't in the doghouse with the coaches. He talked after practice today about the transformation of sorts he's made since Spring. But it wasn't a doghouse with the coaches. He maintains that throughout out it all they were fine. And now Phillip said he's holding up his end of the deal.

As a first-year coach, the most you can ever ask of your team is for them to do what they have been taught and to the best of their ability - and for the entire game. Husker Head Coach Bo Pelini says they haven't that yet, and even now going into the last regular season game, that's what he wants to see.

The Huskers took to the practice fields, day two of the week two as Nebraska gears up for the final game against Colorado. Head Coach Bo Pelini said that he's been pleased with the practices thus far, and junior linebacker Phillip Dillard, who has been out for three weeks, is well on his way to being ready for this weekend's game.
