"Easy Ed"

As a former high school running back, Edward Britton has showcased his abilities to be an outstanding blocker and to collect the all important YAC (Yards After Catch), both staples of the Red Raider receiving corp. In his 2 years in Lubbock, Britton has made the transition from running back to wide receiver look so easy he has earned the nickname "Easy Ed."

Out of curiosity I went ahead and ran the driving mileage for El Paso, Texas to Lincoln, Nebr. Yikes. The Britton's this weekend took an 18 hour trip, and more impressively, that spanned nearly 1200 miles from El Paso to Lincoln, in a car.

Edward Britton - A household name at NU?

Edward Britton is kind of the mystery man for most people , even those diehards that follow recruiting like these prospects owe them money. When the highlights are being pointed towards players like Marlon Lucky, Leon Jackson or A.J. Jimmerson, Britton continues to plug along, piling up yards as well as those just mentioned. His anonymity might be a blessing nowadays, but if this up-coming trip for him this weekend goes well, Husker fans could find him to be a future household name.

50-50 chance TX RB visits Nebraska this weekend

The leading rusher in the state of Texas last year is off to a blazing start once again! In his first game he had 23 attempts for 238 yards and one touchdown. He also caught two other touchdown passes.
