Prep Showcase: Fruita Monument versus Pomona

Fruita Monument was 10-4 last season and state runners-up in Class 4A. Pomona (preseason #8 in 5A) was 11-1 and reached the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. Despite this being a "zero week" game it had all the excitement of a state playoff battle. Colorado commit <b>Riar Geer</b> shined on this eveing and willed his team to the victory.

Buffs Still Lead for Fruita LB/DE

LB/DE Prospect Loves Colorado

<a href="http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=148&p=8&c=1&nid=1171668">Tyler Ryan</a> is a terror on both sides of the ball. Last year for Fruita Monument he had 550 yards receiving on offense at the tight end spot, and 180 tackles and 12 sacks on defense at his outside linebacker/rush end position. He loves the Big 12 and CU is in his early top three. Tyler will be at the CU Junior Day next week.
