Redshirt freshman running back Taylor Rank rushed for 101 yards in his first career start on Saturday against Florida Atlantic. Rank displayed a solid combination of speed and power against the Owls, and he has positioned himself to earn more playing time from this point on. 211 yards and three touchdowns later, Taylor Rank had made his point. Earlier in the year, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound running back from Vancouver (Wash.) Evergreen was asked which side of the ball he felt he could make a bigger impact knows. If Washington prep football fans didn't know before the class 4A championship game, they do now.
