Following Tuesday's practice, senior Omarr Conner was on top of the world. No more practicing with the quarterbacks and then the receivers for the Mississippi State's newest starting quarterback. But it wasn't new for Conner, who has started 17 career games under center.

Dixon Preparing for Success

Although disappointed with a loss in his first collegiate game, not to mention being shut out on the scoreboard, Mississippi State's Anthony Dixon did have reason for some optimism. The Bulldog true freshman tailback churned out 64 yards in his rookie debut in maroon and white. And just a couple of days later, Dixon was named the starting tailback for the Auburn game.
