THREE BEAVERS SIGNED undrafted free agent contracts and will get a shot at the NFL -- WR Damola Adeniji, LB Keaton Kristick and OL Gregg Peat, and two moves came with surprises. With Kristick, many thought an NFL team might get themselves a steal with a 6-7th round draft pick. As for Adeniji, no one was talking about the NFL a year ago -- after all, he was a walk-on with one career catch.

THE NFL DRAFT got underway Thursday and here's one for the books -- Idaho had more picks (1) in the first round than did USC (0). Oregon State and Oregon had no players selected, but that figures to change this weekend. QB Sean Canfield and LB Keaton Kristick are generally regarded by the cyberspace draft gurus as OSU's top NFL prospects. But could other Beavs jump up into the NFL draft mix?

Despite having three quarterbacks on their roster, the Raiders might consider adding another through the draft. However, whether or not that happens will depend on the validity of recent rumors involving a trade with the Eagles for six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb.
