Canada hoping for a second chance at D-1

He was a highly-recruited prospect out of high school that ended up signing with Cal, but after a year in Berkley, current Mt. San Antonio WR Jesse Canada (6-2, 195) made the decision to leave to attend to some family issues and after a full season with the Mounties he's hoping to get some D-1 offers, but he may have one more hurdle to overcome.

Cal Gains 4-Star Commit at Wide Receiver

<p>The Bear Insiders spoke tonight with new Cal recruit Jesse Canada on his commitment to the Cal Bears. The rangy and elusive (4.51-40, 6-1&frac12;) receiver made the call for Cal after meeting with Wide Receivers Coach Eric Kiesau after his basketball tournament game on Thursday.</p>
