Things becoming clearer for McGaha

The career of wide receiver Chris McGaha has been defined by his sure hands and his acrobatic catches. Thus, hard to believe that such a player was achieving all these feats with less than perfect vision. Not only did his flawed eyesight not impact him while donning the maroon and gold, it also didn't hold him back from showing well in the NFL combine.

Another opportunity has come and gone for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Coach Dennis Erickson and his squad hosted the USC Trojans and again fell short of a victory. McGaha Comes Up Big in Win

Sophomore wide receiver Chris McGaha is quickly establishing himself as one of ASU's go-to players. He has not only proven himself as a dependable wide receiver but also as a contributor on special teams. In Saturday night's game against Colorado McGaha had the second most receiving yards with three catches for 47 yards as well as a kickoff return for 14 yards.

Confidence Boosts McGaha, Wide Receivers

At ASU's Media Day event quarterback Rudy Carpenter stated he was guilty of not trusting many of the young wide receivers that suited up for the Sun Devils in 2006. In his defense, that unit probably did very little to boost his faith as it is. These days, receivers such as Chris McGaha are changing that perception in each fall practice that goes by, giving hope for an improved team passing game.
