Hargrave 2005 Combine Results

There's a reason why over 200 college coaches flock to Chatham, Va. every year; Coach Robert Prunty's Hargrave Tigers are once again loaded with athletes. While the weather outside was ice and snow, the Tigers heated up the track on the indoor running surface, and legions of coaches were there to take in the action. Here are the results from yesterday's action.

Prep Schools Take The Stage

Defense and offensive linemen are the strong point this year with postgraduate prep school programs. With Chatham, Va. Hargrave Military Academy rotating in two-deep defensive line that contains three players rated as five star prospects, a four star defensive end, and a three star defensive end, it is no wonder why over 100 college coaches will be in attendance at next week's combine.

If we included Prep Schools in the National Recruiting Rankings, Head Coach Robert Prunty's Hargrave Military Academy teams would be ranked in the Top 5 every year. This year is no different with nearly 20 committed players already on the roster.

Bright Seminole Future

Florida State signed potentially the best defensive tackle prospect in their history in Callahan Bright of Bryn Mawr (PA) Harriton. The 6-foot-3 and 312 pound standout with a 4.9 40-yard dash time was totally unblockable in the prep ranks.

Icing on the Cake!

Yesterday, Florida State was ranked the 25th best team by scout.com in the recruiting rankings. With an incredible two day run, the Seminoles are a lock for a top ten finish. They end National Signing Day by landing the top defensive tackle in the country.
