Redshirt freshman defensive end Ryan Williams suffered a knee injury during Ohio State's bowl practice and is currently in the midst of a long rehab process. Williams is working hard and is determined to play for the Buckeyes in 2006. We caught up with him for more.

Defensive end Ryan Williams of Mission Viejo, California grew up an OSU fan, so when the Buckeyes offered him a scholarship in the spring of 2004, it didn't take him long to accept. However, in the months following that offer, Ohio State football was in the national headlines for all the wrong reasons. Williams' teammate Kevin Bemoll, who had also committed to OSU, decided to look elsewhere, but Williams wanted to stick with his first choice. Read more in this week's Bucknuts Magazine excerpts.

Defensive end Ryan Williams of Mission Viejo (Calif.) will be making the biggest move distance-wise of any of OSU's incoming freshmen, so it's not a surprise that he will be spending most of his summer in California. We had a chance to check in with Williams to find out more about his plans.

Finally, Signing Day is here. The letters of intent are being sent in, and the OSU verbal commitments are officially becoming Buckeyes. Follow along with this page as we add names to the list as they fax their letters of intent in to the OSU staff.
