Some football players fit the stereotype of an NFL prospect, and others don't. But most college football players dream of playing professional football. Those who lack one or more of the criteria must work doubly hard to impress. Illini linebacker Brit Miller falls into that category, and he used Wednesday's pro timing day to improve his prospects.

Coach Ron Zook has spent this week reminding his Fighting Illini football team about the importance of providing a quality show for all the alumni returning for Homecoming. There is no room for a letdown after the big Michigan win as the Minnesota Gophers are a good team eager to become bowl eligible by beating their coach's former school.

Say what you want, but Brit Miller is statistically the best linebacker in the Big Ten and one of the best in the nation. Miller is the leader on defense this year and has done a great job of filling the void left by last year's All-American J. Leman. Read here for more on Miller.
