Iowa State secured its sixth verbal commitment for the Class of 2005 Sunday when Beaver Dam (Wisc.) tight end Eric Schultz gave Cyclone head coach Dan McCarney his decision. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Schultz could play any of three positions at the next level, including tight end, defensive end, or outside linebacker.
