In-State D-End Gives Colorado the Word

<a href="http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=148&p=8&c=1&nid=1263965">Sam Zimmerer</a> thought long and hard about the recruiting process, but after an unofficial visit to Boulder last week with his parents, he decided that CU is the place for him. He committed to the Buffs over Colorado State. Sam is expected to be a d-end or d-tackle in Boulder. Something the Buffaloes could use many more of.

TE/DE Coming to Pivotal Point in Recruiting

<a href="http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=148&p=8&c=1&nid=1263965">Sam Zimmerer</a> will be one of the more highly-touted prospects at the CU one-day camp today. He already has an offer from the Buffs in writing to go along with one from CSU. He says if he were to commit right now it would be to CU but another school could be the favorite if an offer comes, and it might be very soon.

Buffs Make Call to Local Tight End

In-State Tight End Surprises at Junior Day

<a href="http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=148&p=8&c=1&nid=1263965">Sam Zimmerer</a> was said to be the most impressive looking player in attendance at CU's second Junior Day this past weekend. He missed half of his junior season with a torn MCL. Sam had seven catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns. He was named first team all-league at TE. On defense, he had 35 tackles and two sacks at d-end. The Buffs are a strong contender for him and we get his thoughts on last weekend's festivities.
