Greeley West Thrashes Skyview, 44-7

Greeley West was 8-3 last season, losing in the first round of the 4A state playoffs. They opened the season with a 41-6 loss to Dakota Ridge. Skyview was 6-5 last season, advancing to the first round of the 3A state playoffs. They started the season with a 28-0 loss to Alameda. The two met on Saturday in a game that <b>Brian Wiedeman</b> and <b>Jacob Pottorff</b> showed well in.

In-State 'Backer Very Interested in CU

<a href="http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=148&p=8&c=1&nid=1273965">Jacob Pottorff</a> had 149 tackles, six sacks, three interceptions, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries for Greeley West last year. He was named first team all-state. The Colorado staff is showing him a lot of attention and the interest is reciprocal. He tells us what he likes about the Buffs and his summer camp plans. He already attended one of the two Junior Days held in Boulder.
