Last week, guard Zane Gay of Olivet (Mich.) High School made a verbal commitment to play his college basketball for Central Michigan University. This week, he attended the "Blue Chip" Camp in Kentucky along with more than 300 of the best prep players from across the nation and walked away with the Most Valuable Player award.
The Central Michigan University mens basketball program has received its first verbal commitment for the 2005 recruiting class. The Chippewas are off to a great start with this sharpshooting guard from Olivet (Mich.) High School now in the fold.
