Craig Cooper has three more RBI but Ernesto Frieri has his worst start to date. Wynn Pelzer does not like pitching to High Desert. Stiven Osuna is pummeled – recording just four outs in a thrashing.

Matt Buschmann has a bounce-back performance and Eliezer Alfonzo provides the magic in the 12th. Cesar Carrillo puts together his finest start – ever – but is not rewarded with a ‘W'. Craig Cooper, however, hits a blast in inning 12 to break a scoreless tie. Jeremy Hefner had a rough outing – the shortest of his career. Mat Latos toys with the Midwest League again and Ali Solis provides the stick.

Wynn Pelzer posts a quality start and Lance Zawadzki is back in the starting lineup. Fort Wayne has another walk-off win when Matt Clark delivers the go-ahead single in the ninth.
