Several players were moved around on Thursday as the juggling continues in the San Diego Padres system. Matt Thayer was sent down to Fort Wayne from Lake Elsinore. Brian Cavanaugh was shipped back to Eugene from Fort Wayne. Ricky Steik lands on the disabled list and as a result Neil Jamison is promoted.

A 31st round draft pick out of UCLA in 2004, Matt played at three different levels in his initial season with the Padres. This year, nagging injuries combined with a crowded outfield got him off to a slow start at Lake Elsinore.

Alright, here is a little something about how my draft experience was. It was a really crazy time that would be impossible for me to sum up in one article. Every guy that gets drafted has a little different story or feeling, I'm sure. So, this is kinda how it went for me. Next week I will try to get something to you about the DL cause it is terrible.
