Taylor Prevails Over McLaurin in Title Game

Future Wolverines <b>Terrance Taylor</b> (Muskegon) and <b>Chris McLaurin</b> (Orchard Lake St. Mary's) squared off in today's Division II State title game at the Pontiac Silverdome. The cliche &quot;defense wins championships&quot; rang true as Muskegon completely shut down the Eaglets in the second half on their way to a <strong>31-7 victory</strong>.

Chris McLaurin, Dionte Allen Keep OLSM Undefe

Two of the top unofficial visitors at the Michigan-Minnesota game were Orchard Lake St. Mary's stars Chris McLaurin (U-M commitment as an OLB, pictured above playing hoops last winter) and soph. CB Dionte Allen (considered one of the top 3-5 sophs. in the state if not THE top). So GoBlueWolverine had its correspondent/scout Josh Turel (who does NFL scouting for several publications) at Friday night's OLSM game. Here is Josh's report.

McLaurin Makes the Call

It is now official. GoBlueWolverine Magazine spoke Thursday afternoon with defensive end/linebacker <b>Chris McLaurin</b> from Orchard Lake St. Mary's high school. He told GBW several days ago he would be committing to the Wolverines after receiving an offer at the recent Michigan camp. He placed the call this afternoon to Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr and made the pledge.
