FOXBORO, Mass. -- The New England Patriots made a pair of roster moves yesterday. Chidi Iwuoma and Brian Barthelmes were released by the team. Iwuoma, a defensive back was on the Patriots active roster while Barthelmes, an offensive lineman, was on the team's practice squad.

FOXBORO, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced the release of six players Tuesday. Their departure is related to the NFL's requirement that all teams reduce their rosters to only 75 players by the close of business (4pm EST). The moves put the Patriots in compliance with the league limit.
