We at JagNation are going to attempt to make some sense of what has transpired at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium over the last few days. Not all of the moves that the team made make a lot of sense to us, but our jobs here at JagNation don't depend on making the right roster choices, unlike the guys over at the stadium formerly known as Alltel.
ESPN.com reports that the Seahawks have acquired third-year running back Alvin Pearman from the Jacksonville Jaguars for an undisclosed draft pick. Pearman, a fourth-round draft pick in 2005 out of Virginia, The 5'10", 208-pound Pearman was primarily used as a return man and receiving option out of the backfield.
As many of you know, we at JagNation have done a few roster prediction articles, and they've changed fairly dramatically each time we've done them. With the final cuts and official team roster being just hours away, we will take one last stab (apologies to O.J. Simpson) at getting the roster right.
The Jaguars special teams unit was a thorn in their sides in 2006, as they were near the bottom of the league in all of the coverage categories. The special teams almost single-handedly lost two games for the team by allowing punt return touchdowns. Read about the changes made:
