PackerReport.com's Todd Korth caught up with safety Marviel Underwood in the Packers' locker room last weekend. Underwood has been in Green Bay throughout the off-season and is eager to pick up where he left off after sustaining a season-ending knee injury last August.

A few days before training camp, Marviel Underwood was in a position of battling for a roster spot as a backup safety. But things can change quickly in the NFL, and it certainly has for Underwood. With Mark Roman's departure and Marquand Manuel's injury, Underwood has been working with the first-team defense for nearly a week and making the most of the opportunity.
