Royals make first spring cuts

Kansas City on Monday made its first cuts of the spring, sending four players to the minor leagues. The Royals reassigned second baseman Johnny Giavotella and pitchers Brandon Sisk and Gaby Hernandez to minor league camp while optioning southpaw Noel Arguelles – who is on the club's 40-man roster – to Wilmington.
