Last year's wait-and-see approach did not pay off big dividends for New Jersey's state university. This year Rutgers has decided on an alternate route and has tendered significantly more offers, as compared to last year, at similar stages of the recruiting season. Many of New Jersey's top recruits are not only receiving attention form Rutgers but they're also being extended scholarship offers. Don Bosco's Brian Callahan was a prospect that RU looked at early and offered shortly thereafter.<p>

After finding success at New Jersey's Don Bosco Prep with this year's seniors, with Darius Mann and Brian Roche both signing with U of L, the Cardinals coaching staff has kept it's attention on the school and has offered receiver <B>Brian Callahan</b>.
