For all of two days Justin Williams has been a safety, but early indications are this is a move that should have been made long ago. Williams was just switched to defense after another receiver T.J. Lawrence ended his safety experiment and went back on offense.

The Florida Gators have a very solid commitment in Justin Williams, the 6-2, 183-pound wide receiver/cornerback from Folkston (GA) Charlton County. One of the reasons he's so solidly Gator has to do with the way Florida treated him even before he had his qualifying test score. The Gators have been consistent and loyal from day one, something Willams can't say about his home state school.

Justin Williams, a four star Gator commitment, is one of the busiest recruits of the Florida class of 2006. Williams committed to Florida back in November and since then he's kept himself busy by leading Folkston (GA) Charlton County to a state football championship. The glow of a football title was still warm when he joined the basketball team and now he's itching for track season to begin.
