<P>Steve Alford received his first verbal commitment for the class of 2005-2006 from Jon Workman of Lagrange, Indiana (Lakeland High School). The 6-foot-8, 210-pound "skilled four" made his intentions known this past Saturday (October 23rd) in person as he visited the Iowa campus for the second time in less than a month. Word had come out last night that Jon Workman, a 6-foot-8, 201-pound junior small forward from LaGrange (IN) Lakeland, had committed to Iowa, after visiting the campus on an unofficial visit this past weekend. Workman has not officially committed, but there is a strong chance that he could be become a future Hawkeye. College Basketball News caught up with Lakeland assistant coach T. J. Schneider to find out the latest on Workman's recruitment.
