Norfolk Sports Club Rolls in 114-82 Win

The Norfolk Sports Club had five double figure scorers as they rolled to an easy 114-82 win over Tidewater Sealants in the opening game of the Portsmouth Invitational. The Norfolk Sports Club jump out to a 56-41 halftime lead and go ahead by as many as 36 points in the victory. The Norfolk Sports Club will play Friday at 7:00 versus K&D Round's Landscaping.

OU Suffers Heart Breaking Loss

Oklahoma's 72-71 loss to Texas Tech was its first at home versus an unranked (AP) opponent since Jan. 12, 2008. The Sooners had won 31 straight home games versus unranked competition, with their last loss at Lloyd Noble Center coming against Kansas State (84-82) in Jeff Capel's second season.

Hoops: Road Woes Continue

The Jan. 30 game at Nebraska was pushed back several hours to permit the Oklahoma travel party time to get its bearings after finally getting out of icy conditions back home. The Sooners did not arrive in Lincoln until the day of the game, though OU coach Jeff Capel was adamant not to use the travel difficulties as an excuse.
