Donte Greene Named Jordan Game MVP

Donte Greene was named the MVP of the Jordan All-American Classic after turning in a dominating 20 point performance on Saturday evening. Greene scored inside and outside in his team's 127-119 loss and showed a degree of versatility that is very rare in a player his size. The only hole in his game was his inability to contribute on the glass like he contributed in the scoring column.

Hoops Recruits Gain Honors

Syracuse's stellar 2007 recruiting class has been receiving great interest recently, with four players named to various post-season All-Star games. The 'Cuse will have representatives at the McDonald's All-American Game, the Jordan All-American game, the Roundball Classic, the Charm City Challenge, and the Nike Hoop Summit. Hall of Fame Tourney

It seemed to be a day of shooting guards at the Hall of Fame's Hoophall Classic on Sunday. Guys like Malcolm Delaney, Corey Stokes, Austin Freeman and Rakim Sanders were all impressive on a day that that plenty of talent come through the building.

Super Showcase Wrapup

The latter part of Wednesday did not feature much in the way of Kansas prospects. Most of the players on Bill Self's "watch list" were bounced during afternoon play and failed to advance to the latter rounds of the 17U Super Showcase.
