Wildcat football player leaves the program

Although the Wildcats have suffered through a tough start to the season, they have not seen players jump ship. Last year they lost two quarterbacks in the first six weeks alone. Other than a walk-on or two the roster has remained steady. That is until Tuesday when a little used reserve left the team.

Cats land JUCO talent

The conclusion of the Wildcats win over rival Arizona State on Friday was not the only thing to come to an end. The Wildcat careers of tight ends Steve Fleming and Clarence "Bam" McRae also came to an end at the final whistle. With little depth left on the roster the Arizona coaches turned their attention to the JUCO ranks to replenish the depth lost.
