At Pepperdine, Jacob Barrack worked as a starting pitcher and put up impressive numbers. The Phillies though saw a reliever in Barrack and immediately converted him to pitching out of the bullpen. He's continued to develop and embrace the role.

While giants like Randy Johnson seem to get the lion's share of the spotlight, sometimes, an "undersized" pitcher can come along and surprise. Jacob Barrack is exactly that kind of pitcher and he has the potential to move through the system at a decent rate.
