Saturday will be about Redemption for Edwards

Senior linebacker Lorenzo Edwards is looking at the end of his career at Florida as senior day approaches. Edwards is hoping for a start Saturday and said it would be a great way to go out in The Swamp. Still, the most important thing to Edwards and his teammates is getting a win. Coming out on top of Appalachian State would be "marvelous" according to Edwards.

Florida linebacker Lorenzo Edwards met with the media Wednesday to discuss his feelings toward the upcoming game against Georgia. Edwards said he thinks sometimes losses can make a win even more valuable and looks to get a 'W' in Jacksonville. Edwards talked about the frustration of dealing with three losses and how he expects this team to bounce back with fire.

No matter how low his name went on the linebacker depth chart or how frustrated he got for not seeing the field, Lorenzo Edwards wouldn't give up. Most players in his situation would've transferred. They would have seen the depth as a hindrance to playing time. Edwards saw the depth chart as a challenge to improve.

It was hard to picture the 6-2, 220-pounder playing in the back row in college, but every school was willing to give him the chance if that's what it would take to get him on their campus.
